Why a network
Technology leaders tell the same story about recruiters: they call when there’s a role, go quiet when there isn’t, and treat a career as a CV. Meanwhile the peer groups leaders value most are small, confidential and regular, and they’re usually run by vendors or overseas.
techexec is built the other way round. The network comes first: a monthly briefing, small roundtables under the Chatham House rule, and a confidential career conversation, free for members and with no sponsors. Search is the business that pays for it. When an organisation needs a technology leader, we start with people we know properly.
The four promises we make to members are written down on the network page, and we expect to be held to them.
